I use 2 methods, depending on which one I have time for.

First method is to take them down and wash them in the bathtub filled about 1/2 way with nice hot, soapy water. Clean with a good brush and rinse.

Second method is to take them down and take them to the car wash. Believe it or not, this works really well if your blinds are sturdy. Use the soap brush on them (you might need 2 people for this and it will go much faster). Use the rinse in the low setting (not the power spray).

Do they just have heavy dust on them…or are they nasty dirty. If it;s just heavy dust…use a good duster…close the blinds pointing up…dust them off…then close them pointing down…and dust them off….Wha – La….its done.

Wear some white Cotton gloves, spray them with some polish and wipe over them…
